She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard E. Stephens; her parents, Raney Newton and Beulah Montgomery (McGuire); and her siblings, Drexel Montgomery and Lillian Montgomery Post.
She is survived by: her children, Doug (Vicki), Bruce (Cathy), Ted of Lewisburg and Kay; her son-in-law Dave Beegle of Smyrna, GA; and her siblings-in-law, Ruth and Tony Sayre of Winchester, IN. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and nieces & nephews.
