She was predeceased by: her husband Larry; her son David; her parents, Carl Steele and Dorothy Steele (Clegg); her siblings, Richard "Dick" Steele, Donna Cox, Phyllis Gentry and Merry Protzman; and her sons-in-law, Robert Peyton and Rodney Adkins.
She is survived by: her children, Carole Adkins and Stephen Imes (Angie); her grandchildren, Adam Adkins (Shelby), Cassidy Sbita (Hythem) and Hannah Imes (Cameron Myers); and her great grandchild Paisley Anne (Emma Kate Sbita). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
