He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce. He is survived by: his children, Greg Zizert (Ursula) and Cindy Moran; his grandchildren, Bonita Zizert, Joy Maxel and Adam Maxel; and his close friend Myrna Fasnacht. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
