He is survived by: his wife Ella Mae Johnston; his children, Stephen, Edward (Sheryl), Randall (Terry) and Michelle Brennan (Bill); his grandchildren, Stephanie, David, Christopher and Matthew; his great grandchild Luca; and his siblings, Jean and Gary (Colleen). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
