He was predeceased by: his parents, Della VanZant, (Bledsoe) and Kyle VanZant, Sr.; his wife Phyllis VanZant (Sears); his siblings, Juanita Miller, Georgia Evans, Anna Marie Vieweg, Kyle VanZant Jr. and Frederick VanZant; and his daughter-in-law Carol VanZant.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael VanZant of Brookville, Randall VanZant (Joan) of Brookville and Bruce VanZant (Carrie) of Brookville; and his grandchildren, Zachary VanZant (Kara) of Brookville, Randall VanZant (Sarah) of Piqua, Vincent VanZant (Kristen) of Troy and Ashley Pierce (Chuck). He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.
