She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Benjamin and Minnie Jane Strausbaugh (Taylor); her husband Thurman Beer; and her siblings, John Strausbaugh, Irene Wick, David Strausbaugh and Betty Stout.
She is survived by: her sister Rosie Rupert; her nieces, Lisa Fairchild and Linda Parsons; her nephew Todd Stout; and her close friends, Janet Hussong and Carole Crowe. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
