We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2020, Katherine Scholz of Brookville, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Arthur Scholz; her parents, Julia Kotila and Onni Kotila; and her brother John Kotila. She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Burkett (Douglas), Julie Tate (Jeffrey) and Jean Scholz Mellum (Steve); her grandchildren, Katherine, Carole Burkett, Christopher, Phillip Tate, Andrea Greene (Jesse) and Brenna Mellum; her sister-in-law Patricia Kotila; her nieces, Sherri Pittman (Craig), Quenby and Megan Kotila; and her nephew Steve Scholz (Vickye).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 25 W. Westbrook Rd. Brookville, OH 45309, to the Delta Theta Tau Sorority or the charity of your choice.
