He was predeceased by: his brother Norm Gentis; and his niece Christina Carpenter. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his son Todd Gentis (Patty); his granddaughters, Madison Silveira and Kylie Gentis; and his nieces, Melissa Casarez and Michelle Hudson. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Hospice of Miami County.
