He was predeceased by: his father Norman Kilgore. He is survived by: his wife Lisa; his mother Zoetta Grumbley (Herb); his sons, Anthony Kilgore (Ashlee) and Adam Kilgore; his grandchildren, Aydin Ryan and Henslee Kilgore; and his siblings, Deron Duncan (Fonda), Billie Hart (Jeff) and Tim Duncan. He is also survived by six nieces and three nephews.

The state of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face masks be worn in all public places.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Shriner's Hospitals for Children.
