He was predeceased by: his wives, Clara, Ella and Shirley; his brothers, Gerald, Roland and Delmar; and his son Mark Longenecker (Gloria).
He is survived by: his brothers, Tom (Ruth) and Sam (Judy); his children, Celeste Eldred (Garry), Curtiss Schindler (Lisa), Steven Schindler, Laura Schindler and Eric Longenecker (Brenda); his grandchildren, Kalob, Jacob, Justin Eldred, Kate, Sara, Sam Schindler, Marjana Longenecker, Jennifer Johnson (Andrew), Dennis Longenecker (Kelly) and Drew Longenecker; and his great grandchildren, Mark and Dorothy Johnson.
