He is survived by: his wife Geraldine E. Blackburn (Surber); his daughters, Annette Hensley (Dan) of Tipp City and Patty Tully (Larry) of Germantown; his grandchildren, Sara Cox (Marty), Kimberly Cornett (Rickey), Angie Riner (Jameson), Adam Hensley (Julia) and Kirsten Hershberger (Joel); and his sisters, Dorothy Hemmerich and Betty Gangel. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Gideon International or Hospice of Dayton.
