It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Deaton (Brookville, Ohio), born in Metamora, Michigan, who passed away on March 21, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathleen Deaton (Childers) and Charles Deaton; and his granddaughter Jamie Nicole Bryant. He is survived by: his wife Barbara J. Deaton (Robinson); his daughters, Melodie Sexten (Michael) and April Deaton; his stepchildren, Karen Griffie (Kelley), Michael Dale Holland (Melanie) and Jennifer Cox (Grant); his grandchildren, Jessica Lynn Moore (Joshua), Zachary Charles Sexten, Jaelyn Marie Sexten, Tyler Mitchell Smith, Kylee Daye Abrams, Ariel Lambertson (Dylan), Trevor Cox, Andrew Holland and Karsyn Holland; his great grandchildren, Colton Brantley Charles Sexten, Lillian Lambertson, Rachelle Lambertson and Adrianna Lambertson; his siblings, Roger Deaton (Sharon), Shane Deaton (Kristina) and Debra Riley; his nieces and nephews, Nicole Kirk (Ken), Casaundra Siwa (Joseph), Courteney Smith (Robert), Roger Dale Deaton, Daniel Ray Deaton and Michael Deaton; and his friend Fred Burkhart.
