He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hays and Violet Hays; and his sister Lois Hays. He is survived by: his wife Jeanie; his brother Dennis Hays (Llana Combs); his nieces, Shannon and Britten; and his cousin Barbara Petersen.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Hospice of Dayton.
