He was predeceased by: his parents, Minford H. Alspaugh and Mabel G. Alspaugh (Albright); his former wife Joan Alspaugh (Shields); his wife Geneva Alspaugh (Ratliff); his stepson Larry Michael Cox; and his siblings, James Alspaugh, Ned Alspaugh and Phyllis Steindler.
He is survived by: his son Gregory; his daughter-in-law Lynda Alspaugh of Lewisburg; his daughter Valerie; his son-in-law Steve Shafer of Brookville, OH; and his friend Gracie. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and his special pet.
