He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernst Oscar and Caroline Martha Kiessling; his former wife Lois Kiessling; his wife Jeanette Kiessling; and his brother Ernie Kiessling.

He is survived by: his close friend Joan Blaha; his children, Tom Krueger (Angie), Bob Krueger, Elizabeth Boltz (Robert), Christopher Kiessling and David Kiessling (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Courtney Fraley (Jim), Lindsay Heninger (Larry), Chase Boltz (Tara), Kory Krueger (Kelly), Devon Young (Ryan), Ashley Kiessling, Taylor Kiessling and Kyra Kiessling; his great grandchildren, Wynn Heninger, Brady and Boston Boltz; his siblings, Annabelle Spencer and Charles Kiessling, Sr.; and his daughters-in-law, Sue Krueger, Dawn Cameron and Christine Kiessling.
