He is survived by: his wife Angie Johnson (Brown); his sons, Paul E. Murray, III and Robert Smith (Nelli); his grandchildren, Tatianna Nicole Murry, Jasih King Murray, Alia, Rain, Liam, Jazlyn and Aaron Smith; his great grandchild Ezekial Smith; his in-laws, Mike "Chico" Brown (Karen), David Brown, Arlene Boswell (Eddie) and Joan Guy; and his close friends, Jan, Mike Wade, Cathy and Roger Kemmere.
His favorite holiday was Christmas and he would generously donate toys for the children to the local fire department in Columbus.
