He was predeceased by: his parents, George C. Daugherty and Anna Geraldine Clinger Daugherty; his wife Marianne Daugherty; his brothers, Ron, Bill and Dick Gardlock; his nephew Richard Gardlock; and his great-nephew Sean Dolata.
He is survived by: his pet Zoie; his children, Kendall McCoy (Brian Alfredo) of Masury and Michael McCoy (Kristian Scudier) of Niles; his sister Peggy Dolata; his brother-in-law Walt of Hermitage; his niece Geraldine Dolata of Hermitage; his nephew Michael Dolata (Angel) of Richmond, IL; his grandson Andrew McCoy; and also Darlene McCoy of Sharon. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
