He was predeceased by: his parents, George Warren Bassett and Doris Margaret Smith. He is survived by: his wife Deanna "Dee Dee" L. Creamer-Smith; his children, Yazmika Bradley of Jersey City, Brandon Bradley (Quanisha) of Whiteville, Musilimah Pack (Isaiah) of Jersey City, Latoya Wall of East Orange, Tyreff Wall of Jersey City, Laporsha Wall of Jersey City and Tovia Drew of Jersey City; his stepdaughter Elisha R. Harvey of Sharon; and his siblings, Gloria D. Smith of Jersey City, Karen M. Young (Darrell) of Bayonne, Fredricka Cypress of Raleigh, Tanya Managault (Lewis) of Newark, Rhonda Canary (Arnold) of Bronx, Ronald Bassett of Richmond, Virginia and Jemmie Adams of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by 3 step-grandchildren, his extended family and friends.
