Gething of Brookfield, Ohio, born in Sharon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward B. Gething and Barbara A. Gething (Garish); and his daughter Sarah E. Gething. He is survived by: his wife Angela M. Gething (DeFuria); his children, Brian E. Gething (Chianne) of Scottsdale and Katie L. Barca (Matthew, Sr.) of Hubbard, Ohio; his grandchildren, Siena L., Aviana L. Gething, Mara M., Stella L. and Matthew J. Barca, Jr.; and his sister Carol A. Perrone (Michael "Chuck") of Boynton Beach, Florida.
He was also on the planning committee for the ECHO (Every Classmate Helping Others) Charitable Foundation for fourteen years.
