She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Kocon and Lottie Kocon; her brothers, Patrick Kocon, Leo Kocon and Michael Kocon (Dena); her cousins, Bill Himes Jr. and Brian Joseph Himes; and her great-nephew Jacob Siemer.
She is survived by: her siblings, Judy Himes (late Bill) and Dave Kocon (Joyce); her son Joseph Genovese; her daughter-in-law Kasey; her grandchildren, Alyssa and A. J. Genovese; her cousins, Michael, Lori Himes, Jessica Bowler, Karen, Kelly, Jamie Siemer, Patrick, Melissa Kocon, Dave and Alishia Kupiec; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Brian Thomas Himes, Isaac Siemer, Bridgette Himes, Donovan Rogers, Maddie Bowler, Noah Siemer, Korbin and Kepley Kupiec. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Bartholomew Church (14865 Bagley Rd, Middleburg Heights, OH 44130). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Final Resting Place Holy Cross Cemetery (14609 Brookpark Rd, Brook Park, OH 44142).
