He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeremiah Sullivan and Ruth Sullivan (Desbennett). He is survived by: his wife Darlene A. Scott; his son John Sullivan (Debra) of Broadway; his granddaughters, Christy and Ashley; and his siblings, Cherry Miesse of Corning and Roy Sullivan (Val) of Arkansas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
