He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Anna; his siblings, Edward (Marion) and Lillian Trost; his daughters, Jacqueline Takach (late Larry) and Janice Halterman; his grandchildren, Kary, Kristopher and Brent; and his mother Rose.

Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Matthias Church in Parma, OH or to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
