It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Glenn Shaffer of Bristolville, Ohio, born in Warren, Ohio, who passed away on February 25, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Shaffer and Eula Shaffer (Hoagland); his brother-in-law Peter Muresan; and his children-in-law, Gail Shaffer and Steven Sabat Sr..

He is survived by: his wife Emily Shaffer (Church) of Mecca; his children, Dennis Shaffer (MarySue) of Bristolville and Patricia Sabat of Bristolville; his sister Shirley Muresan of Mecca; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Granados (Ian), Laura Fike (Tim), Lena Lumpp (Daniel), Sarah Anderson (Aric), Samantha Shaffer, Steven Sabat Jr., Adam Shaffer and Benjamin Sabat (Kayla). He is also survived by 9 Great Grandchildren.
