He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene J. Bakos and Doris J. Bakos (Hillyer). He is survived by: his sister Eugenia Twitchell (Thomas) of Bristolville, Ohio. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; and several great-great nieces and nephews.
