As Mary departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Mary leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Blackshere and Theda Cox (Pettit); her brother Roger Blackshere; and her nephew Rusty Shipman. She is survived by: her children, Robert Linger (Sharlena), Brenda Goelz (Jim) and Brian Linger (Michelle); and her siblings, Donald Blackshere and Jane Shipman. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Paine Funeral Home (140 E Main St, Orwell, OH 44076). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
