He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Payne and Eva Marie Payne (Dempsey); his wife Geraldine "Gerri" Inez Taylor; his sons, Michael and Allen; his siblings, Carolyn Chappell, Marge Kelly, June Rosetti, Theadora, Floyd T Payne and Harold W. Payne; and his sister-in-law Jean Taylor.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Payne (Beverly) of Tionesta, PA, G. Edward Payne (Patty) of Rome, Denise West (Wayne) of Southington and Roberta Ziobert (Gary) of Kinsman; his daughter-in-law Deborah Payne of Shinglehouse, PA; his sister Diane Nazario; and his brother-in-law G. Donald Taylor. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
