He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank J. Hites and Ruth V. Hites (Frampton); his wife Kathryn Oliver Hites; his son Gordon Hites; and his sister Shirley Conley.
He is survived by: his children, Frank E Hites (Rhonda) of Andover, William L. Hites of Bristolville and Ruth Ann Goddard (Thomas) of Vine Grove, KY; and his sister Luella Hughes (Kenneth) of West Farmington. He is also survived by six grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
