He was predeceased by: his parent William T.; his son Cleo Blackwell; and his siblings, Marion Vanscoy, William Blackwell, Denver Blackwell and Wanda Burdett.
He is survived by: his parent Dorothy Blackwell (Hall); his spouse Patricia Blackwell (Butler); his children, Jerry Blackwell, Wendel Blackwell, Lori Wherry Barker, Richard Blackwell (Joanie) and Amber Pope (Mike); and his siblings, Jack Blackwell (Judy), Gary Blackwell (Shirley), Michael Blackwell (Carol), Howard Blackwell (Debbie) and Jean Flanagan.
