He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph V. Humes and Ruth E. Humes (Smith); his stepmother Lillian Humes; and his son Joseph E. Humes. He is survived by: his brother David C. Humes; his wife Nancy C. Humes (Lockhart); his children, Ralph Humes (Patrick) of Syracuse, NY, Richard Humes (Belinda) of Boliver, OH, Randy Humes (Kara Busefink) of Bloomingdale, OH and Jodie Lynne Rouse (Mark Spindler) of Wintersville, OH; and his sister Dana Cangley of Wheeling, WV. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
