She was predeceased by: her parents, Cary F. Cain and Lillian Cain (Postlethwait); and her siblings, Clarence Cain, Harry, Patrick Cain, Ruby Hamil, Vaughn Jeskiewicz, Edith Miller, Genovia Sponaugle and Virginia Miller.
She is survived by: her husband Gilbert W. Sterling; her sons, Lawrence E. Sterling (Sharon Weldon) of Brilliant, OH, Roger D. Sterling (Susan) of Franklin, WV, Gilbert L. Sterling (Lola) of Brilliant, OH and Norman L. Sterling (Joyce) of Brilliant, OH; and her sister Pansy Farmer of Independence, KY. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
