He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph S. Carter and Maxine H. Carter (Mumaw); and his wife Bonnie L. Carter. He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Van Dine (Clint) and Diana Hacker; his siblings, Jack Carter (Janette), Janet Wells and Tammy Sismondo (Ronald); his grandchildren, Allison, Madison, Zander Van Dine, Lyndsey Meredith (Michael) and Chelsea Gumucio (Marc); his great grandchildren, Nicolas, Elaina, Addison Meredith, Graham, Lucas and Amaya Gumucio; and his close friend Sandy Paris. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
