Elizabeth Hopkins Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 7, 2020, at the age of 91, Elizabeth Hopkins of Brilliant, Ohio, born in Smithfield, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, David O. Thompson, Sr. and Mary Bell Thompson (Craig); and her siblings, David, Jr., Lowell "Bud", Charles "Chuck", Victor, Edward Thompson, Pat Summerville and Jessie Lee Hicks.

She is survived by: her children, Ronald Cassidy, Sr. (Kathy) of Smithfield, OH, Larry Cassidy (Darlene) of Washington, PA, Rose Wilson (Gene) of Adena, OH and Beverly Moore (David) of Empire, OH; her siblings, Jerry Thompson (Donna) of Georgia and Mary Paice of Wintersville, OH; and her grandchildren, Brandy Martin (Brad), Misty Cassidy, Veronica Barone (late Mike), Janelle O'Dell (Paul), Ronald Cassidy, Jr. (Melissa), Jeffrey Scott Cassidy (Jennifer), Brian Fisher, Wayne Wilson, David Wilson, Nickie Young (Tom Mason), Bobbie-Jo Kampss (David) and Daniel Ross (Sarah). She is also survived by twenty-two great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
