He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Kakascik and Grace Kakascik Nichols (Hopple). He is survived by: his wife Denise Kakascik (Core); his children, Jason Kakascik of Mingo Junction, OH, Donny Kakascik of Wintersville, OH and Rene Gaiten of Howard, OH; his stepchildren, Trevis Faulkner of Mt. Vernon, OH and Wendy Faulkner of Cadiz, OH; his sisters, Janis Hamilton of Brilliant, OH and Janet Fox (late Tom) of Brilliant, OH; his grandchildren, Amber Fleming, Brandon Thompson, Kaitlyn Kakascik and Taylor Kakascik; his great grandchildren, Aleah and Alexis Watson; and his pets, Mindy, Lola and Mitzi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
