He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Ehni and Audrey Ehni (Conner); his wife Irene Ehni (Nemeth); and his sister Marthalea Keller (Ehni). He is survived by: his son Mark Ehni of Brookside. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to the Brookside VFD, 875 National Rd., Brookside, Ohio 43912.
