He was predeceased by: his uncles, Thomas Spregg Myers and Charles William Gonzalez; his grandparents, Sandra Sue Gonzalez and Ronald Carr; his father-in-law Donald Wamsley; and his brother-in-law Robert Bright.
He is survived by: his parents, Bobbie Gonzalez Kovas (Brent) and John Michael Carr; his daughter Scarlette Dawn Marie Carr; his fiancée Sara Wamsley; his grandmother Nancy Lee Myers; his siblings, Shannon Russell (Dustin), Brent Kovas II, Caleb Kovas, Seth Nelson and Matthew Kanters; and his sister-in-law Kristen Bright. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
