She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Irvin and Ester Irvin (Randall); her siblings, Harry Irvin Jr., Asbury Irvin, Kenneth Irvin, Norma Jordan and Evelyn Johnson; and her granddaughter Carmelita Platt.
She is survived by: her children, Ron M. Platt of Bridgeport, Tyrone F. Platt (Marjorie), Palm Beach, Mark Platt (Bonnie) of Ashtabula, OH, Brian Platt (Kathy) of Martins Ferry, OH and Cynthia Jackson of Bridgeport; and her sisters, Barbara Galloway of Columbus, GA and Rose Wallace of Bridgeport. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
