It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Shafer (Bridgeport, Ohio), born in Martins Ferry, Ohio, who passed away on March 26, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John G. Jones and Emma Jones (Weigel); her husband William Shafer; and her brother John Robert Jones. She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Johnson (Gary) of Wheeling, Linda Menoski (David) of Elkhart, IN, Diane Collette (Tim) of Piqua, OH, John Shafer of Bridgeport, Richard Shafer of Bridgeport, Robert Shafer of Bridgeport and Bill Shafer of Colerain, OH; her grandchildren, Eric, Kelly, Melanie, Christina, Mark, Kimberly and Timothy; and her cousin Janet Kemp. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
