It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Joseph Petrella of Bridgeport, Ohio, born in Steubenville, Ohio, who passed away on July 9, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Petrella and Theresa Torcasio Petrella; and his brothers, Thomas Petrella and Craig A. Petrella. He is survived by: his wife Roberta; his daughter Judge Jennifer A. Petrella of Dayton, Ohio.; and his sisters-in-law, Mary E. Walicki of Davenport, Florida, Susanna Kress of Bridgeport, Ohio and Margaret Petrella of Wintersville. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorial contributions may be made to a Catholic charity or Catholic education.
