He was predeceased by: his parents, George Schrodes and Leatha Hale Schrodes (Rouse); his sons, Ricky Lee and Jeffery Lee Hale; and his siblings, Anna Saunders, Dolores Stan, Paul and Richard Hale.
He is survived by: his wife Viola Hale (Palmer); his daughter Debbie Lee Hale-Butler of Columbus; his granddaughters, Samantha Banks (Anthony) of Galloway, Jessica Carpenter (Cory) of Hilliard and Dianne Butler of Columbus; and his great grandchildren, Lyric, River, Aiden and Markell.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (920 National Rd, Bridgeport, OH 43912). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at the Holly Memorial Gardens (73360 Pleasant Grove Rd, Colerain, OH 43916).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors 4899 Belford Suite 300 Jacksonville, FL 32256.
