He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Porter and Hattie Porter (Minor); and his siblings, Paul "Dick" Porter, Howard "Jimbo" Porter and Ruth Langer.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Porter (Rodgers); his children, Paula Porter-Adams, Billie Jean Porter Mumley, Charles "Buck" Porter Jr. (Miranda) and Pamela Porter-Kerekes (James); his siblings, Pat Lekanidis, John Porter (Sue), Bob Porter (Carol), Dave Porter and Ed Porter; his grandchildren, Amanda, Melissa, Jordan, Mathew, Tyler, Mary, Marlee, Colt, Alexandra, Jonah and Ava; and his great grandchildren, Mila, Atlas, Remi, Lukas, Noah, Stella Mae and Jaxson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
