He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Megan and Dylan; his son-in-law Mitchell Talbot; his grandson Liam of Conneaut Lake; his daughter-in-law Molly Houghton; his grandson Zebulon of Colorado Springs; his sister Margaret Shuler (Charles) of North Carolina; and his extended family, Judy, Phil Pedrotty, John, Brenda Hodgson and Jennifer Pauley.
He cooked for various charity events and supported local food banks. If friends are so inclined, donations to World Central Kitchen, the Akron Canton Food Bank, or a local food cupboard of their choice in his honor would be a fitting tribute.
