He was predeceased by: his parents, Fozzie Landau and Effie Frances Rhodes (Ingram); and his sisters, Edith Oldaker (Don), Hester Barber Fisher and Lucille Rhodes.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Lou Ritchie; his children, Sandra Badertscher (Dan) of Navarre, Forrest Lee Rhodes Jr. of Canton and Nancy Bucher (John) of Navarre; his grandchildren, Eric Bucher (Sarah) of Bellbrook, Duane Bucher (Kerri) of Louisville, Noah Suttle of Navarre and Madison Suttle of Ashland; his great grandchildren, Lydia, Alyssa, Bryson of Bellbrook, Logan and Paisley of Louisville; his sister Ruth Mayes; and his brothers-in-law, Jack Ritchie and Elton Ritchie.
