He was predeceased by: his wife Hazel Copen; his sons, Shawn Copen and Stanley Cupp; his grandson Kameron Osborn; his parents, Roy Copen, Sr. and Dorothy Duffman; his stepfather Robert Duffman; and his siblings, Carl Copen and Barb Johnston.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy, Lorie Copen and Shada Copen-Moore (Frank); his stepchildren, Steven Cupp and Michelle Cupp-Perrin; his siblings, David Copen (Deborah), Laura Kirk (Kelly) and Steve Copen; and his friends, Dick and Joyce Estep. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
