He was predeceased by: his parents, Celia Garza and Juan Garza; and his siblings, Sylvia Garza, Vengie Strong, Eddie Garza and Chuckie Garza.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Garza; his daughters, Anna Hostetler (Christopher) and Becky McCarty (Chris); and his grandchildren, Chance Hostetler, Alex Hostetler and Victoria McCarty.
