He was predeceased by: his mother Bonnie Jean Hammer; his parents-in-law, Lisa Jo Strawn and Joseph McConnell; and his grandparents, Jim, Marge McConnell and Paul Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Tiffany Hammer; his daughters, Madalyn Jo (Logan Boring), Morgan Jean and McKenzie JoLynn; his grandmother Betty Clark; his uncle Douglas; his aunt Mary Lou McConnell; his siblings-in-law, Chris and Alyson Shaffer; his niece Adyson; his nephew Luke Shaffer; and his siblings, Delbert Hammer (Lori), Donna Hobson (Ralph), Tina Hammer and Gloria Spangler (Lloyd). He is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
