He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd "Jack" Sherlock and Lucille Sherlock; his brother Myron E. Sherlock; and his daughter Diana K. Wittman. He is survived by: his wife Judy (Schmeltzer); his sons, Carl David, Dale A. (Lisa) and Darrell A. "Andy" Sherlock; his sisters, Bonita B. Feener, Joyce L. Turner and Karen S. Shuttleworth; his aunt Doris Barnes; his grandchildren, Charles Matthew and Crystal Renee Wittman; his son-in-law Charles W. Wittman; and his friends, David Morris, William "Bill" Adkins, Steve Elder and Debra Miller. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bremen Community Methodist Church (205 Walnut St, Bremen, OH 43107). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Fairhope Hospice who were a Godsend in helping his family take care of him in his home.
