He was predeceased by: his parents, Luigi Lia and Edith Lia; his spouse Marion Lia; and his sister Theresa Malinkey (Frank). He is survived by: his children, Edith Schilla (Charles), Luigi Lia (Heidi), Jacqueline Rivera and Vincent Lia; his grandchildren, Charlie Schilla, Frank, Brittany Lia, Nikita Schmiedel, Salvatore Rivera and Antonio Lia; his great grandchild Zoe; and his siblings, Frank Lia, Mary Mauk and Antoinette Jasica (Emil).
