He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Kershner (Stephen) and Barbara Pappadakes (Pete); his granddaughters, Elizabeth Whiteacre (Kevin) and Katy Tarpley (Kris); his great grandchildren, Hattie Mae Whiteacre, Aiden Tarpley and Ronan Tarpley; and his brothers, Wesley Schmidt (Judith Klein) and Kenneth J. Schmidt.
