He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Gaus and Margaret Gaus (Beyer); and his brothers, Carl, James, John, Bede, Edward and Rev. Msgr.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Robert Gaus Jr., Lori Blonchek (Robert) and Arnold Gaus (Megan); his siblings, Raymond Gaus and Mary Bassett; his grandchildren, Stephanie Blonchek, Jonathon Blonchek (Catherine), Maribeth Blonchek, Joshua Gaus and Abigail Wolf (Thomas); his great grandchildren, Owen Blonchek, Edmund Blonchek and Aurora Wolf; and also, Buck and Robert.
