He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Diane; his child Kelly Tombow; his siblings, Edward (Ruth), Donald Tombow (Arlene) and Beverly Weller (Fred); and his stepbrothers, Art, Harold and Ray Quade.

He is survived by: his children, Christopher, Robert, Douglas and Wendy Pisanelli (Ernest); his grandchildren, Brian, Kelley, Kara, Nicholas, Anna and Katie; and his sister Arlene Pellillo (late Gene).
